The Role:
**Responsibilities**:

- Act as an escalation point for special interest group (SIG) leads and regional working groups to seek guidance and expertise on their proposals to drive their SIG agenda forward
- Work closely with our marketing and communications team to ensure oversight and organisation of our annual calendar of events
- Work with HR business partners to promote changes and develop systems and processes for reporting and dealing with incidents of discrimination
- Raise awareness of equality, inclusion and diversity matters with our suppliers and market partners encouraging them to support and participate in our agenda
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of anti-discriminatory and equality legislation
- Represent Canopius at Lloyds and other partners events and meetings, working across the market and insurance sector to share best practice
- Write, implement, and review policies for the Group with sensitivity to local cultural contexts
- Prepare reports and recommendations on all aspects of Equality, inclusion and diversity to senior leadership teams across the business
- Prepare and deliver presentations and workshops to staff, stakeholders and partner organisations
- Monitor and update the I&D budget and flag issues to the Chair of the I&D Committee and Head of Organisational Development.

Skills and Experience:

- Previous experience working as an adviser on Inclusion and diversity matters is essential
- Relevant certified qualification such as MCIPD or similar
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- organisational and project-management skills
- excellent report-writing ability, presentation, and training skills
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders all levels across the organisation
