HR & Payroll Administrator

The main objective of the role will be to oversee the daily HR activities, including payroll administration, reporting directly to the HR Advisor.
- Prepare and distribute essential colleague paperwork such as contract and offer letters, change to terms and conditions letters and salary review letters etc
- Compliance checks such as references, right to work, driving checks, etc
- Assisting the team by taking notes in Employee Relations meetings (Disciplinaries, Grievances, Performance, Redundancy etc.)
- Responsible for creating and maintaining job adverts on online platforms, at the request of General Managers.
- Processing starters and leavers in line with current procedure.
- Inputting and processing HR data onto our systems.
- Ensuring all new employees are tracked through the probationary process, completing all mandatory tasks and processes prior to their probation being signed off, escalating issues to HRA where appropriate.
- Maintaining consistent HR records, ensuring accuracy of information in line with Data Protection requirements.
- Providing confidential advice and guidance on HR related issues, consistently delivering a high standard of customer service.
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives.
- Responding to requests from employees for information or advice, ensuring all appropriate parties are included in communications and escalating HR queries where appropriate.
- Responsible for checking GM’s have created and closed Rota’s weekly
- Run and provide Head of Finance weekly summary of all employee hours
- Create and maintain monthly payroll sheets (including hours, multi-site hours, holidays etc.)
- Create and maintain monthly HR update sheet (including, new starters, leavers, SSP SMP etc.)
- Payroll Checks weekly and monthly, in line with Fourth
- Create and complete the monthly upload and deduction Fourth sheets
- Pension queries and tasks - as per Head of Finance Request
- Electronically filing all relevant paperwork in appropriate location/file format.
- Investigate GDPR and ensure we are complying with current rules and regulations
- Undertaking any reasonable activity requested from the HR Advisor or Head of Finance
- Deputise for HR Advisor where required.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £10.60-£11.20 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
