If so, this is your chance to become our Resident Student Engagement Officer in Manchester Metropolitan University's Residential and Conference Services Department.

**About the role**

This role will be reporting to the Student Experience and Communications Manager, assisting them in developing our student community experience.

You'll work alongside student staff, and be one of the first points of contact for students living on campus, you'll also set the tone and champion outstanding standards of customer service for all to follow.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Providing excellent customer service
- Supporting the student experience while living in University Halls
- Assisting with posting content on social media platforms
- Reporting on wellbeing and behavioural concerns where necessary
- Working with student staff to deliver the Residential Life Events Programme.
- Supporting Customer Service operations

**About you**

You'll ideally have previous experience working in a similar role either within student accommodation or delivering events in a similar setting.

You will be people-led and customer-focused with a blend passion for providing excellent customer service.

**Working hours**

This position is fully campus based, Your typical working pattern will be Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 18:00pm however the roleholder would be expected to work flexibly to support student events. Working patterns can be flexible to suit.

There is also a requirement to work some weekend shifts especially around arrivals, usually the 2nd weekend in September and departures, mid-July. There may also be other events at the weekends where the roleholder will need to provide support including open and visit days.
