The Real Estate Asset Management Team are a close knit team that support the bank by effectively managing short term loans from inception and providing efficient management of all properties in possession and under the management of LPA Receivers

What you will be doing:
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring Short Term Bridging Loans from inception through to full redemption within term, (and beyond with agreement or taking legal action where required), whilst liaising with customers and their appointed third parties to check progression and timescales of exit plans. In addition you will also be required to assist with cases in possession and LPA Receivership. In this unique and varied role, you will have the opportunity to work on your own initiative whilst developing your career goals.

Your responsibilities will include
- Ensuring optimum availability to take incoming calls from customers and colleagues, thereby minimising waiting times.
- Ensuring all time critical tasks are prioritised.
- Loading new Bridging cases onto the system daily and set up initial review date based on lending rationale, and continuing to manage them effectively through their life cycle.
- Providing feedback to Short Term Lending Team on any contentious issues that arise which may conflict with the declared exit plan.
- Ensuring any letters issued to reflect action being taken are accurate in terms of content and adhere to current legislation requirements.
- Working closely with Solicitors, Asset Managers and LPA Receivers to work out suitable exit strategies.

In return for your commitment:
We offer a base salary dependent on experience from £28,500 and a competitive benefits package including:

- Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 15%

Could you be the one?:
We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

- Previous experience working within the financial services industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of ‘cradle to the grave processes’ for Possession and LPA Receivership is essential.
- Ability to articulate clearly by letter, details of actions taken in an ‘easy to understand’ manner are essential.
- Four GSCE/GCE qualifications at grade C (or equivalent) or above to include both Maths and English, both of which are essential.
