Cancer Pathway Tracker - full time

The Cancer Pathways Team provides an administration service encompassing the facilitation of Cancer Multi-disciplinary Team meetings, and monitoring of patients on cancer pathways to ensure the best patient experience is delivered within the national Cancer Waiting Times standards.

An opportunity has arisen to join our friendly cancer pathway team and make a difference to cancer patients and their families.

The team keep track of all the cancer patients ensuring they are seen and treated as soon as possible, within the national cancer waiting times. The tracker role supports the overall pathway and works closely with our Clinical Services to ensure timely steps in the patient pathway

The role requires strong communication and IT skills, attention to detail and good organisational skills. The ability to work within a team but also independently and have the confidence to liaise with colleagues of all disciplines across the organisation and with other Trusts.

Using existing knowledge of infoflex, cerner and cris the post holder will track the patient through the cancer pathway ensuring they are diagnosed and treated in a timely manner in keeping with the national cancer standards.

The post holder will also assist the MDT co-ordinator in admin duties such as uploading documentation to EPR.
