**Job description**:
As the Sales & Disposals Delivery Lead, you will manage a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer requirements. You will be responsible for developing and supporting the delivery of sales and disposals campaigns within a team, with responsibility for the management and development of your reporting staff

**About the role**
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Provide sales and equipment advice and support to potential customers in the UK and overseas to ensure the successful delivery of sales and disposals activity.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert and Point of contact for designated materiel.
- Support sales and disposal campaigns (incl. the production of materiel factsheets for marketing purposes) utilising PPM processes and in accordance with the relevant policies and

processes. Manage post-sale support activity in accordance with policy.
- Manage inbound visits from customers, working closely with stakeholders and ensuring all clearances and approvals are in place.
- Draft Business Cases for the sale of equipment, ensuring consistency with JSP101 and Business Case requirements
- Manage significant disposal activities, liaising closely with the customer to understand their requirement and working in conjunction with commercial colleagues to develop an efficient disposal strategy.
- Manage DESA Commodity Sales & Disposals Contracts in accordance with the Terms and Conditions to ensure delivery of an effective, compliant service for stakeholders.
- Lead the identification and management of risk associated with Sales and Disposals activities.

**Person specification**:

- An in-depth relevant work experience that might be gained from a similar role OR technical/professional qualification and/or degree level qualification
- Substantial experience in developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Supervisory/management experience
- Strong literacy skills.
- Knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Office software

It would also be great if you can demonstrate any of the following desirable criteria:

- Project management qualification or willingness to undertake once in post.
- An understanding of JSP 101
