Platform Operations Administrator

Recruit Wealth are delighted to be representing one of our National Financial Planning clients who now seek to recruit a Platform Operations Administrator.
The business offers full Financial Planning and Wealth Management services to individual clients relating to pension and investment advice on a national scale.
This is an exciting, newly created position for an individual to learn, grow and progress within the Investment Operations team for a company who is currently going through rapid expansion.
**Main duties**:
The role will involve working closely with colleagues within Platform Operations and in the wider business to ensure platforms operate smoothly. This will involve regular tasks to monitor activity, check client records and escalate any exceptions as they arise. Additionally, the role will involve first-line support for colleagues using the platform to transact business for clients.
- Monitor and maintain onboarding checks for clients onto platforms
- Ensure trading and cash transaction requests are implemented in a timely manner and followed up as needed
- Provide support to colleagues illustrating and transacting business on our platforms
- Maintain procedures and other related documents for the platform
- Completing administrative tasks as required for ad-hoc projects
- Receiving incoming calls from and making outgoing calls to internal staff, third-party providers and clients
- To assist with covering your team members’ workload during absence/holiday
- To perform any other reasonable task at the discretion of the management
**Knowledge and Experience**
- Effective communication skills both verbally and written in a manner appropriate to the intended audience
- Able to demonstrate exceptional organisational, planning and prioritisation skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn new systems and processes
- Experience of working within defined service standards and procedures
**Personal Skills**
- Must be organised and able to work under own initiative
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Accessible, approachable and have a positive attitude
- The flexibility for and commitment to continual service development and improvement
- Effectively work within a team
