This is a fixed term post expected to last until November 2025.

It's an exciting time to join the Social Care Commissioning Team at Pembrokeshire County Council.

We're changing the way we work to ensure that people in Pembrokeshire have the opportunity to have fulfilled and independent lives within their homes and communities. We're working alongside people who use social care services to design local support options and develop new ways of working. This role will involve working with citizens, colleagues, providers and local stakeholders to improve existing services and to design future services which make a real difference to people's lives.

The job involves getting out and about, working alongside people to understand what is important to them and commissioning high quality support options that are creative and innovative in their approach.

The focus of this role will be to support work relating to developing, strengthening and reviewing a range of services that allow people choice and control to live as independently and interdependently as possible.

You will be passionate and motivated about promoting people's wellbeing and enabling them to achieve their aspirations and live the life they choose. As a member of a growing and dynamic team, there will be opportunities to work across a number of service areas and for your own personal development.
