Broker - Joint Strategic Commissioning

Advertised is a fixed term full time position, working 37 hours per week.
We have a fantastic opportunity available to join a dynamic, office-based team supporting the community by arranging care for those most in need.
Working within the Joint Strategic Commissioning division of Pembrokeshire County Council, as a Broker you will use strong communication skills to liaise with a range of teams and staff within the Authority as well as external care providers and health colleagues to negotiate and organise care services.
You will also be responsible for organising and maintaining records for services so experience in adhering to process and process design alongside effective administration skills will be invaluable. Both written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is IT literacy with confidence in utilising a range of software systems.
While knowledge of the commissioning cycle and social services legislation are strongly favoured, we welcome individuals from a range of professional backgrounds to this role.
