- Convey changes to procedures, systems, equipment, and operational/technical requirements to fellow employees.

**Conditions of Employment**:
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Applicants must comply with the Exceptional Family Member Program requirements as outlined in the DoD Instruction 1315.19.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess, or obtain and maintain, a valid regular or official U.S. Passport.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- May be required to work shifts outside the normal tour of duty.
- This position requires a medical examination. The incumbent is required to lift up to 40 lbs.
- The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R, and must pass urinalysis testing, as required prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- In accordance with Change 3 of AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, the incumbent of this position must successfully pass a urinalysis for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations

Specialized experience would be demonstrated by: monitoring, testing, evaluating, repairing, and/or installing various telecommunication systems; determining equipment needs and cost for organization; and evaluating system performance and initiating corrective actions to prevent or resolve communication outages.
