Energy and Renewables is one of Bidwells’ growing service lines. Alongside offering expert advice to Landowners regarding renewable energy options for their land, we also offer Rental Management services for operational projects Country located on their property.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, numerically minded, curious and interested in the Renewables sector. This unique role will involve working alongside our Renewables team on the rental calculation and collection from projects located on our clients’ land.

Due to the nature of the work, this role requires someone who is comfortable reviewing lease agreements and understanding tenant rental obligations in order to ensure the timely and correct receipt of rental payments, as well as monitoring generation and income trends, checking complex rental reconciliations, and undertaking ad hoc budgeting tasks.

We would consider part time and full time applicants. Full time applicants will take on additional administration tasks for the wider team.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Reviewing lease documents for rental terms, including future uplifts in rates and rental elections
- Checking the Reminder calendar daily to see what rents are coming up for invoicing
- Completing a rental spreadsheet for each project incorporating key dates/figures from the lease in order to anticipate and track rental calculations and payments
- Setting up reminders for the project to ensure that all future key rental dates are flagged in the calendar with advance alerts to ensure timely issuing of invoices and settlement of rents
- Providing the client with a timely prompt to confirm the rental sum for them to issue invoices or, where Bidwells manage the client account, arranging to issue invoices on the client’s behalf
- Providing an annual summary of the site’s performance and income (where applicable)
- Communicating with the tenant regarding rental payments
- Interrogating rental receipts received from the tenant to ensure that the calculation is correct and the different elements of the income which constitute the rental calculation are understood
- Researching into and understanding of the basis of electricity price markets, government support schemes, generation levels
- Querying any identified anomalies with the tenant and escalating to management/client if required
- Providing estimates of future income to clients
- Adhoc administration tasks for the wider E&R team

**About you**:

- Have a background in administration and finance (debt management experience ideal)
- Have a keen interest in the Renewables sector (sector knowledge is preferred)
- Have the ability to build strong relationships with internal colleagues and clients, and liaise effectively with tenants
- Be a team player with a positive and can do attitude
- Enjoy multi-tasking and have a curious mind that always wants to find out more and delve a little deeper
- Be methodical, enjoy problem solving and have an analytical mind
