Due to unprecedented growth in our UK wind turbine service and maintenance business, Realise Energy Services Ltd are looking for an experienced and capable individual to join our existing team in order to strengthen our operational team.


Realise Energy Services is a specialist provider of operation and maintenance, site optimisation, equipment supply, installation and commissioning services to the renewable energy industry.

Focusing on medium scale onshore wind turbines, the company provides remote monitoring, operation and maintenance, bespoke optimisation and asset management services for a range of customers across the UK.

Working with key partners, the company also offers additional energy solutions including the design and supply of energy storage and management systems.

You will be employed as a
Stores Coordinator. This position is predominantly based out of our company premises in Perth for operational requirements.


We're looking for a Stores Coordinator to join the team with a proven background in the industry (or similar) and relevant experience in the role previously.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have responsibility for managing the control of stock items on behalf of the business.

You will have responsibility for a range of duties relating to the role as detailed below.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As the Stores Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage stock and tools across multiple premises including service team vehicles while keeping up to date stock lists and inventories in conjunction with the finance and operations teams
  • Prepare parts, consumables and retrofit kits for service teams to collect/ take to site and manage return items from service teams
  • Prepare and organise shipment of defective items to 3rd party repair facilities
  • Assist in ordering of stock and managing deliveries/collections of new stock
  • Ensuring stock is ordered in a timely manner to minimise delay in on site activities
  • Assist in managing PPE and lifting equipment carrying out regular inspections of items and keeping up to date records
  • Manage tooling condition ensuring calibrated tools are tested regularly at required intervals and record testing dates
  • Safe management of hazardous goods
  • COSHH
  • In house minor repair and fabrication works across small electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components
  • Producing purchase orders and receipts covering consumables, parts, PPE, tools and equipment
  • Creating reports and monitoring stock levels using stock control software
  • Completing and managing regular stock takes across the business stock
  • Monitoring and working within agreed budgets
  • Track and replace goods consumed, ensuring adequate spares provisions
  • Ensure all parts are picked efficiently
  • Ensure all parts are returned daily, accurately and on time
  • Effectively manage the issuing of materials and other consumables
  • Embrace and actively improve LEAN processes
  • Ensure all KPI targets for the department are met and adhered too.
  • Checking inbound supplier deliveries against delivery notes and process these on the system. Checks for condition, quantity, and accuracy. Escalate and proactively resolve any issues
  • Inform the relevant internal departments of incoming goods and ensure that all goods received are identified against an order and appropriate documentation is completed.
  • To maintain an accurate stock location system at all times
  • Maintain security throughout the stores restricting entry to authorized or accompanied persons and to ensure that all persons entering and using the Stores comply with Health and Safety Regulations
  • Maintain a high standard of Housekeeping consummate with safe working practices in both the Stores and the outside areas and report all hazards directly to the Operations Manager

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of stores coordination, ideally with an onshore wind background would be a strong advantage
  • Education in engineering or technical equivalent disciplines, or other relevant disciplines would be desirable but not essential
  • Industry knowledge is hugely desirable, ie wind turbine technology, wind farm operations, stock control etc
  • Evidence of technical competence, selfmotivation, ability to use own initiative, flexible, problemsolving approach
  • Experience of working within a fast paced, multidisciplinary engineering environment


 IT literate
  • MS Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience of working in a stores/warehouse environment
  • Used to working to tight deadlines
  • Use of Safe Manual Handling techniques
  • Experienced in a heavily controlled and audited ISO and H&S environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly & concisely, both verbally & written
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel is essential
