As the Operations and Logistics Administrator, you will play a crucial role in assisting in the efficient and smooth operation of our purchasing, logistics, production, health and safety, and seasonal projects. Your responsibilities will include:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Stewarts Purchasing**:_
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of high-quality materials and products.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control purchasing budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement without compromising on quality.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, optimizing the balance between supply and demand.
- **Container and Logistics**:_
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee the logistics of container shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Freight Management: Negotiate contracts with freight forwarders and shipping companies to obtain the best rates and services.
- Customs Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and documentation requirements.
- **Support the Stewarts Operations and Production**_
- Operational Efficiency: Work closely with the operations and production teams to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any operational issues that may arise, minimizing disruptions to production.

**Health and Safety**
- Policy Development: Implement health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace.

**Seasonal Project Management**
- Project Planning: Plan and manage seasonal projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, logistics, purchasing, or a related role.
- Willingness to learn
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Proven track record in project management and delivering results
