**The Role**:
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a hands-on, practical individual who is eager to work closely with a diverse range of clients.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Accurately process client payrolls on weekly and monthly, including setting up and processing new and existing payrolls on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis.
- Running annual P11ds and employee benefits return
- Add new payroll clients to the system and create their accounts with HMRC.
- Process all payroll and submit RTI reports to HMRC.
- Handle processing of starters and leavers, issuing employee payslips, and providing a breakdown summary to each client.
- Calculate and ensure the weekly and monthly submissions of auto-enrolment pensions.
- Calculate and reconcile PAYE payments and Attachment of Earning Orders.
- Liaise with pension scheme providers to ensure all client pension arrangements are in order.
- Deal with inquiries from HMRC and clients, ensuring all statutory filing deadlines are met.
**Requirements**:
- Payroll experience is welcomed but not a must as training can be provided as part of the job.
- Good working knowledge of payroll, including statutory deductions.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with intermediate Excel skills.
- Fast payroll processing, word processing, and good computer literacy.
- Familiarity with payroll systems (Moneysoft, Sage, Xero) is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Due to the office's semi-rural location, having your own car is necessary.
