We are looking to recruit someone a commercially aware, self motivated Purchasing Co-Ordinator to join our Purchasing department in Crewe. You will be responsible for stock purchasing for the whole business and the role will also include estimating, sourcing and procuring of goods/services in line with our company requirements.

The role will be a full-time, permanent position. We are trailing a 4-day week at the moment (working 7:30 -17:00 4 days per week - but hours can be more flexible than this) which is working really well at the moment. We are happy to consider part time for the role.

**The right person for the role**

This role is ideal for someone looking for the next step in their purchasing career.

We need someone who:

- thrives in a fast paced environment
- Is a great communicator and able to build strong relationships with both colleagues and suppliers
- Has a passion for obtaining the most cost-effective solution to a problem
- Has great attention to detail
- Has good multi-tasking ability
- Has solid computer literacy and the ability to use a resource planning system to place, track and receipt orders (training will of course be provided on our systems)
- Has a positive, can-do attitude
- Has a good sense of humour
- Is organised with great time management.
- Is comfortable working in a small team

Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience of ordering processes, estimating and sourcing.

We want people who will genuinely care about the needs of our customers and what we are trying to achieve as a business.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience in a similar role and is currently studying CIPS or willing to develop their career in Procurement.

**The Package**:

- Starting salary of at least £21K (please state your salary expectation when applying)
- 4-DAY WEEK working 36 hours over 4 days; imagine having a 3-day weekend, every weekend (*note this is still in the trial stage)
- Holidays - 25 Days per year plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service up to 28 days (please note that this is pro rata’d for part time and those on a 4-day week)
