As our Employee Communications Specialist, you will support the successful creation, development, and execution of communications strategies and associated materials that connect our people and help employees understand their role in bringing Stantec’s Strategic Plan and brand to life.

You will report directly to our UK & Ireland Employee Communications Manager and will be based in our Warrington Office.

You will work in close partnership with Functional Service Team (FST) partners; Marketing, Communications, Public Relations (MCPR) colleagues; and other key stakeholders to help keep our UK and Ireland employees informed, engaged, and inspired by highlighting all the great things we do at Stantec.

You will work in a fast-paced, complex environment often with competing demands, requiring a high level of initiative, efficiency, accuracy, flexibility, confidentiality, and discretion.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a global design firm that is expanding in the UK & Ireland. You will have opportunities to build networks across the business and get involved with UK & Ireland-wide change initiatives at the start.

**About You**

You will have experience working in a communications role or a related field. Ideally, you will have a Degree/Diploma, or equivalent experience in communications, public relations, English, journalism, or marketing.

As an experienced communications professional, you understand how to work flexibly on priorities, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.

You will be a confident communicator, and able to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels across the business. You are comfortable with creating and executing communications plans and drafting content for internal audiences. You have a flair for creative writing, being able to turn complex messages in to simple and easy to understand communications. Plus, you enjoy working in an innovative, fun, and engaging way.

This role will provide a varied and rewarding opportunity with plenty of potential for development for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to grow in their employee communications career.
