Building Facilities Assistant

**Job Overview**:

- To support the operational day to day Estates Building Management Team and Estates Operations Workplace Management.

**Main Duties**

Main duties of the Building Facilities Assistant consists of but is not limited to;
- Monitoring and reporting performance against quality audit schedules (SEHI, respirator)
- Maintaining compliance dashboards (BM Team POCC)
- Updating compliance schedules
- Assisting development and implementation of new initiatives and processes within Estates building portfolio.
- Provide support to building exercises (fire alarm drills, etc).
- Maintain up to date building management documentation (House Rules, Resident Handbook).
- Sign audits and registers.
- Support where required when new building assets come into the Estates Portfolio.
- Ordering of goods, signage required to support Building Management Team (signage, white goods, fire extinguishers).
- Conference Room Management for Site meeting rooms.
- Arrange and record fire marshal and first aid training to support the Building Management Team.

- An understanding of Facilities Management
- Team orientated person
- The ability to plan and set schedules
- The initiative and confidence to work to set schedules
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Organisation and prioritisation skills
- Customer Service experience
- Drive and enthusiasm to gain the knowledge required to carry out the role
- Familiarity or capability to quickly utilise the Sellafield Ltd IT systems. Microsoft Packages, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
- Flexibility of working arrangements to meet the scope requirements
- To become a trained First Aider and Fire Marshal.
