Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust MSK Physiotherapy Service are currently recruiting for a 1 year Fixed Term Administrator/Receptionist to work 18.75 hours per week.
Be personally motivated, with relative experience and transferable skills.
An good administrator with excellent customer services ,communication and organisational skills. In addition computer skills to to manage receiving patients and booking patients into the department and supporting administrative task to ensure patient pathways are progressed effectively.
In Addition must be able to work well as part of a team as well as independently.
- Welcome patients (and visitors) to the Adult Specialist Services.
- Be responsible for opening/closing the building, during hours of work where applicable.
- Check patients in to the diary ledger using computerised system appropriately.
- Answer telephone enquires (Patients, Doctors etc) directing where necessary to ensure caller’s needs are met.
- Acting as a site point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
- Take messages from answer phone and deal with them promptly and efficiently.
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing post ensuring dispatch and delivery in a timely manner.
- Undertake administrative tasks as requested.
- Operate office equipment to support work of the department.
- Ensure stocks and supplies are replenished to meet clinical requirements.
- Working with trust directive and clinical teams to ensure detail and notices remain up to date.
- Maintain itinerary of office equipment i.e. for PAT testing.
- Ensuring facilities within the building are maintained, liaising with building services/facilities when needed.

Be responsible in meeting and greeting patients and visitors to HCT, delivering a high standard of comprehensive reception and administrative support to ensure effective delivery of clinic services to patients and clinical staff which fall within the remit of Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust.
Be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the clinics and facility. Working with the minimum supervision and using initiative to achieve service requirements and deadlines.
In addition, the post holder will act as a point of contact for patient queries and ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times In line with expectation and Trust policy.
Word versions of documents are available if needed to allow for any adaptations to be made i.e. font, colour, background, convert to Read Aloud.
