**What you’ll be doing**

As an Outreach and Engagement worker you will be responsible for working with our school Family Support Worker, identifying families who are out of work, who have children in our school and adults within the local Cheetham Hill area.

You will use a strength-based approach to supporting them with appropriate goal setting, monitoring their wellbeing at various touch points and supporting them to

Your role will involve supporting and empowering individuals and groups of adults to attend appointments, training, workshops, peer support groups, and any other provision to support them to achieve their goals and aspirations, improving their overall wellbeing.

Additionally, you will be required to foster positive partnerships with various organisations, building links and referral routes for adults to access their services.

**What we need from you**
- Experience of working with adults in the community.
- A commitment to strength-based approaches and appreciative enquiry.
- You will use a range of evidence-based tools and techniques to motivate adults to achieve their goals.
- You will develop positive relationships with a range of external organisations and agencies.
- To be positive, resilient, flexible, and foster positive links across the school.
- To share Big Life Schools and Unity’s vision and the values of The Big Life group.
- You will be required to undertaker an enhanced level DBS check for this role including the children barring list.
