Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated School Outreach Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in connecting with students, parents, and the wider community to support student well-being and academic success. This role requires a compassionate individual with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and community members.
  • Provide support and resources to students and families to address academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff and external agencies to coordinate support services.
  • Conduct home visits and attend community meetings as needed.
  • Organize and participate in outreach events and workshops.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of outreach activities.


Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in social work, education, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Business insurance for your vehicle (required for conducting home visits and outreach activities).
