Our client is a leading UK independent same day delivery company, operating across the Northwest, including same day courier services covering Warrington, Manchester, Cheshire, Liverpool and beyond, delivering nationwide and to Europe. The business offers awide range of services and a quality customer experience from start to finish.
Founded in 2005, our client started out with one lease van and began making courier deliveries. The business has since developed considerably and has grown into an organisation with a global reach that provides transport solutions to some of the best-knowncompanies in the UK.
Our client is proud to still be looking after the first customer they brought on board years ago but have significantly expanded by listening to their clients' needs.
**The Role**
As Internal Sales Manager you will be responsible for expanding growth within the current market sectors and growing our client's partners throughout the UK, as well as identifying new market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- To lead business generation within defined parameters and within agreed levels of revenue & profitability.
- Map and forecast the sales pipeline for new and current business.
- Network to secure a 'first trial order' to then become the courier company of choice.
- Report on the progress on the development of the target accounts.
- Take corrective actions where possible to recover lost business.
- Keep up to date with market trends and competitor performance.
- To provide timely and professional documentation of activities and results against the agreed schedule of objectives.
- To drive and deliver continuous feedback on the marketplace for the benefit of the business.
- To represent the business as an ambassador and to be held in the highest regard, in terms of professionalism and integrity at all times.
- Recruit and grow a successful sales team within the first year, with scope for expansion in the following years based on company performance.

To be successful in this role you should have a drive for winning new business and being the face of the company. The successful individual will be independent, determined and possess excellent professional credentials.
