**The Alexandra Care Home with Nursing **is looking to recruit an **Activities Co-ordinator** to work within our prestigious home in Poulton-le-Fylde. This is an exciting role, because it gives scope to be creative and to conduct activities both within the home, but to also arrange external trips for residents.

The Alexandra is located within attractive grounds in an attractive semi-rural setting. The building is a blend of a Grade II listed main house and purpose-built additional builds. There is parking on site and easy public transport routes from surrounding areas.

We are looking for someone with, preferably, activities experience within the care sector, or within the entertainment / leisure sector. The role is an important one within the care sector and can make a real difference to the quality of life for residents.

Finally, activities have to be documented and logged for CQC inspection and the activities coordinator must be able to work with the marketing manager to pass over content (photos and brief descriptions of activities) so that the activities can be posted on the home's Facebook Page and website for the benefit of the loved ones of residents to view.

If done correctly, the role is a very stimulating and rewarding position at the heart of the care home.
