Focusing on their weddings and events food and beverage service as **restaurant team member at Shireburn Arms you’ll**
- Be involved in service ensuring customers are greeted, seated and well looked after
- Play a part in training and developing the team to ensure consistent service standards.
- First impressions count and you will be the first person to set the warm and welcoming atmosphere
- You will be welcoming guests on arrival, ensuring they have everything they need during their stay and wish them well upon departure.
- Ensure the guests have a fantastic experience from the first interaction to the last

**Also,**
- Be a seasoned pro in the hospitality industry with a strong customer orientation and understanding of service delivery
- Have mastered the ins and outs of exceptional guest service
- Strong project management and personal organisational skills with the ability to balance a number responsibilities
- Ensure corporate and hospitality group policies and procedures are followed.
- Oversee and check the maintenance & quality of physical items: tables; chairs; equipment; linen and the appearance of the hotel, restaurant and foyers: wood work; carpeting; lighting, etc.
- To be confident in up selling and making recommendations through strong product knowledge and maximising sales opportunities
- Carrying out a handover with the previous Shift Manager to ensure all matters are handed over, with the necessary paperwork completed.
- Carrying out a full end of shift and security close down inspection, alongside a competent manager or supervisor to include all public areas, back of house and outside areas, dealing with any issues immediately with a key focus on cleanliness.
- Setting an example for the rest of the team by being punctual, well-groomed and dressed in accordance with James Places’ standards.
- Be a point of contact for queries and complaints while on duty, handling all with an excellent level of professionalism
