**The role**

As the Team Lead IT Services, Infrastructure & Cloud Procurement, you will report into the Head of IT Procurement within Indirect Procurement and be responsible for approximately eight (Global) Category Managers.
This exciting opportunity within the refreshed IT/OT Procurement team will give you the first hand opportunity to lead, mentor and develop a global team and contribute to cutting edge projects across all of RWE’s businesses including Renewables, Energy Trading and much more.

**Your future plans**
- Creating, shaping, steering and representing your international team
- Planning, delivering and tracking strategic initiatives that support business growth, digital transformation, cost reduction and value creation for the respective stakeholder communities
- Acting as a sparring's partner for your (Global) Category Managers to assess and trial potential global category and sourcing strategies
- Coaching your (Global) Category Managers in supplier negotiations, benchmarking, market analysis etc
- Aligning and executing against overarching procurement strategies, processes, activities and challenges with your team
- Owning and developing a pipeline and prioritized demand forecast in conjunction with Procurement Business Partners
- Developing interface to Operational Procurement team
- Developing and promoting effective practices and continuous improvement within the team such as to reduce risk of none-compliance, increase automation and self-service capabilities
- Handling of escalations and delegation/tracking of activities

**Your profile**
- Experience in developing small teams in an international
- and remote environment
- Relevant supply market and industry knowledge of relevant IT categories (IT Services, Infrastructure, Cloud, Telecoms etc)
- Strategic Procurement experience and an understanding of P2P processes
- Good communication, networking and influecing skills
- Willingness to travel to our operational/office sites and key suppliers
- Comprehensive understanding of English; German language skills beneficial
