**TEAM LEADER - Enhance Living Support Services**

Enhance Living Support Services is looking to recruit Team Leaders for their expanding Care at Home and Supported Living business. Current locations are based in North and South Lanarkshire.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS & DUTIES**

**Leadership**
- Provide leadership to the team, always acting as a positive role model.
- Provide effective supervision to the staff on your team.
- Assist in sharing responsibilities with regards to the on-call cover as arranged by the Registered Manager.
- Ensure good team working at all times.
- Motivate, support and mentor the staff when needed.
- Ensure staff complete all necessary paperwork to an acceptable standard and sign off.
- Assist with spot checks ensuring that the company's practices and codes of conduct are adhered to.
- Assist with rostering as discussed with Registered Manager.
- Responsible for maintaining care plans and risk assessments.
- Applicants must be able to make accountable decisions in the absence of management.
- Applicants must be able to arrange and attend reviews and carry out effective reporting.
- The successful applicant will be expected to work as part of the team and cover shifts when required. Flexibility in their approach is essential.

**Support**
- Ensure personal care tasks are carried out in line with the needs, wishes and preferences of the individual, following the care plan.
- Support the development of person centred planning, ensuring each individual's plan has meaningful and achievable goals.
- Support people to develop and expand social networks and friendships.
- Work as a keyworker to coordinate and develop the support to the individual.
- Contribute to and attend reviews and multi-disciplinary meetings.
- Develop positive relationships with family and carers.
- Work in line with the company's Adult Protection and Prevention of Abuse Policy and Whistle Blowing Policy to ensure that people are always kept safe.
- Ensure risk assessments are actioned as necessary in line with policies and procedures.
- Administer medication in line with the policy and the individual's care plan.
