**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated & driven Patient Care Coordinator to join our private practice. You will be joining a small and close-knit, supportive, highly productive, and friendly team of people with brilliant minds and a fantastic company culture, offering remote working. This varied role is integral within the practice and the Patient Care Coordinator will support across all areas of the business.

**THE ROLE**

As Patient Care Coordinator you will be the first port of call for our patients, helping coordinate their journey through the Dr Indra Practice. You will be naturally curious, able to pick up the phone and speak to our patients about their situation with an open heart, helping to see what they need and guide them to take the next step with our team, recommending the most appropriate pathway. Healing happens in small steps. Each interaction with you should empower them and allow a small step to be taken. You will be an integral part of the care that the patient is receiving at the practice.

This job could be suitable for someone with customer service and health care experience, who loves to help people and wants to grow and develop in a private health care setting.

**Position reports to: Patient Manager**

**Hours: 9am to 5pm**

**Salary: £18,000**

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Working with the Patient Manager to understand her role and presenting ideas to create more efficiency within the team.
- Developing your interest and understanding of functional medicine and a multidisciplinary team approach.
- Dealing with new enquiries and onboarding new patients, providing an excellent telephone and video call service.
- Responding to patient enquiries and managing a very busy appointments diary.
- Ordering tests, and receiving laboratory reports.
- Monitoring the repeat prescriptions list, maintaining our systems.
- Clinic Calendar Management: Ensuring all practice meetings are in diaries, adding events, attaching Zoom links, monitoring responses and attendees, cross-checking with clinical diaries and dealing with clashes where necessary.
- Working with the Patient Manager and clinical team to carry out a wide range of administrative tasks in a timely, professional, and accurate manner, pro-actively following up on actions required.
- Ensure high standards of record keeping are met e.g., patient records, incident reports, complaints, celebrations.
- Maintain efficient systems and processes which meet the needs of the business and our regulators.
- Prepare, create, and proof-read correspondence and reports, requiring excellent language, grammar, and presentation.
- Communicate efficiently and professionally with third party providers.
- Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes, as well as updating and tracking task lists post-meetings.
- Quickly getting up to speed on the practice’s systems (training will be provided). These include G-suite, Asana and Semble.
- Provide clinic day and holiday cover to the Patient Manager.
- Attend weekly collaborative care and monthly team meetings (either remotely or in person in Yorkshire).
- Take responsibility for your own developmental learning and performance.
- Play an active part in the team by pro-actively making suggestions, coming up with ideas, communicating regularly.
- Document work - PowerPoint presentations, reports, agendas, minutes, etc.
- Assisting with marketing activities, e.g., events, social media, blog and newsletter content, webinars, updating website, Eventbrite etc.
- Be on hand to support at occasional events.
