**Progress Teachers** are working with an outstanding **Alternative Provision, **seeking experienced Teaching & Learning Assistants to support students with **SEN**, **SEMH **and **Challenging & Complex Behaviours.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students
- Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualised education plans **(IEPs)**:

- Support students in their social and emotional development
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction as needed
- Assist with daily routines, such as mealtime, naptime, and toileting
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher

**Skills**:

- Experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs (SEN), ADHD, SEMH, Complex & Challenging Behaviours.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively educate and engage students in learning activities
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards children
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and parents/guardians
- Knowledge of toddler care and development
