About the Role:

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our team at Esteem North Academy. As a Teaching and Learning Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with challenging and complex needs, helping them to engage in their learning and develop positive relationships with their peers and teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in lessons to engage in their learning and develop positive relationships with their peers and teachers.
  • Work with small groups of pupils in class as directed by the class teacher or site lead.
  • Contribute to a small staffing team to ensure the site runs smoothly.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and think outside the box to support their learning and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge and experience of working with disaffected pupils in a school or alternative setting.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and think outside the box to support their learning and well-being.
  • Resilience, high expectations, and a sense of humour.
  • Daily access to transport with business use included on your car insurance.

Working Arrangements:
