We are seeking a skilled and methodical professional to assist in the management of staff and students at our educational facility. The students at this location will primarily be in Key Stages 3 and 4. Given the smaller staffing teams compared to traditional educational institutions, this position is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments with at-risk youth.

This role will be situated at a newly established site, which is anticipated to accommodate around 110 students, with class sizes not exceeding 10. You may serve as a designated form tutor, playing a pivotal role in the induction of new students. Additionally, this position may require you to supervise classes during teacher absences and oversee the line management of assigned Support Teaching and Learning Assistants (STLAs).

Candidates should possess substantial experience in engaging with students facing challenges in a school or alternative educational setting. A strong affinity for working with individuals who exhibit behavioral, emotional, and social difficulties is crucial for this demanding yet fulfilling role. We are looking for resilient applicants who maintain high expectations and a sense of humor, capable of fostering positive relationships with our students while employing innovative approaches.

As part of a small team, you will contribute to the seamless operation of the site. It is essential to be both proactive and receptive to guidance. A growth mindset and a positive attitude are vital attributes we seek. Maintaining composure at all times is imperative.

Reimbursement for mileage and off-site travel will be available upon submission of claims. Candidates must have access to a vehicle and possess car insurance that includes business use at the time of application and job offer. This role may involve traveling to students' homes and providing transportation.
