Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and organized professional to take on the role of Educational Support Site Coordinator within our academy. This position is essential for overseeing the leadership of both staff and students on site, particularly focusing on Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing a small team dedicated to supporting vulnerable students in a dynamic educational environment.
  • Act as a form tutor, playing a pivotal role in the induction process for new pupils.
  • Provide cover supervision during teacher absences, ensuring continuity of education.
  • Oversee and manage allocated Support Teaching and Learning Assistants (STLAs).

Candidate Requirements:

Applicants should possess a strong background in working with students facing challenges in their educational journey. Key qualities include:

  • A deep understanding of the needs of students with behavioral, emotional, and social difficulties.
  • Resilience and the ability to maintain high expectations for all pupils.

Additional Information:

Successful candidates will have access to mileage reimbursement for off-site travel, and must have a vehicle with appropriate insurance for business use. This role may involve traveling to students' homes and providing transportation as needed.
