- Must be hold or be able to obtain an AFISO license and meet the associated medical requirements.

Following full training, you will provide Aerodrome Flight Information Services and Meteorological Information to aircraft to assist pilots approaching the airport and maneuvering on the airfield. You’ll therefore be required to pass a Civil Aviation Authority Medical plus examinations associated with the AFISO license and a Meteorological course. Please note the AFISO and MET courses require you to undertake a period of training at an external venue over a period of approximately 5 weeks in total. AFISOs will also be required to hold a valid medical declaration.

It’s really important that you have a flexible approach and attitude to your work, are willing to work shifts, including weekends. The nature of our work involves working “on call” at some airports where you may be needed day or night to deal with an emergency flight.
