Anderson Knight is currently seeking an experienced Stock Administrator Assistant for a client located in Lanarkshire.

The primary responsibility of this role is to contribute to maintaining the accuracy of stock data and transaction records for all movements of spirits to, from, and within the site.

The standard working hours are 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a half day on a Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

- To support in validating and transmitting stock identification information to warehouse personnel.
- To ensure compliance with HMRC regulations pertaining to the handling and transportation of all spirit products.
- Prepare dumping warrants for cask disgorging.
- Verify the stock declared in vats.
- Document cask and tanker receipts and dispatches.
- Manage new fillings.
- Maintain current stock locations for casks.
- Ensure compliance with Customs and Excise requirements for the receipt, handling, and dispatch of spirit.
- File and organise all paperwork and records to be audit-ready and compliant at period end.
- Ensure the integrity of stock data by identifying and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with external and internal customers, including regulatory authorities such as HMRC.
- Foster communication with Stock Team members, Process Teams, and Maturation Teams.

Key Attributes and Skills:

- Proven experience in a Customer Service function within an export environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in the Drinks industry is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Practical and innovative.
- Strong interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
