**Summary of Role**:
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger function within the finance team.
**Day to day tasks include**:
- **Purchase Ledger processing**:
- Uploading supplier invoices onto the accounting software.
- Process supplier invoices, match against purchase orders and GRN’s.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Resolution of invoice queries with stores and procurement.
**Ad hoc**:
- Any tasks/responsibilities that occasionally arise e.g. year end audit help, setting up new employees on concur? Etc.
**Ideally what we are looking for**:
- AAT Part Qualified, but not essential.
- Previous experience in an accounting role would be advantageous.
- Experience in using Excel and accounting software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills
