**The Role**:
As the Operational Design Lead in our Community Hubs team, you can make your own powerful contribution by helping us tackle health inequalities within Westminster, and drive a better quality of life for our local residents. We are doing this through the development of innovative Community Hubs, and it is here that you could find a challenge like no other.

We are looking for someone who has bold ideas about how our Community Hubs can meet local needs, not just in the immediate future, but for the long-term too. You will therefore play an instrumental role in designing sustainable spaces and determining how new community facilities will run.

As such, you will find plenty of autonomy in this role in which you will be encouraged to pursue your most ambitious ideas. Undertaking complex financial and management modelling, you will explore a range of operating model options, identifying individual hub requirements and determining how we can deliver on these needs. Carrying out market research and contributing to the development of business cases and Cabinet papers, you will ensure we have accounted for future arrangements within each of these Hubs, addressing both financial and non-financial benefits of different approaches. Whether creating visuals or gathering the information needed to bring these ideas to life, you will be keen to share the practicalities of each project with a wide range of stakeholders, and you will share expertise with less experienced colleagues who are keen to learn. You will also take the lead on procurement activities, so you will develop tenders and appoints the relevant teams and services for each Hub, seeing to it that effective reporting arrangements are in place.

**About You**:
Bringing a creative and technical approach to every project, you will have previous experience of developing operational models, and you will have an in-depth knowledge of the associated development and modelling activities. Comfortable working with complex information in order to shape potential financial scenarios, you will use your analytical capabilities to secure approaches that are cost-effective, sustainable and of great value to the local community. You will also have prior experience of developing briefs and tenders for services, so it goes without saying that you will have fantastic verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to produce insightful reports and visualisations.
