Do you want to work in a vibrant organisation and make new international friends? We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our diverse and friendly team, for a fixed term period of 12 months.

International Students House is a lively student centre offering accommodation, social and support services for resident and non-resident British and overseas students. In addition, International Students House encompasses the ISH Venues, the ‘229’ music venue and the Thirsty Scholar Bar.

**The day to day activities of the Marketing Intern are varied and will include**:

- Assist in the creation of web and print content (photography, videography, graphic design, and copywriting)
- Create marketing material for different departments.
- Source prospects and nurture leads through to conversion.
- Research competitors across the different business areas and suggest/implement initiatives.
- Work closely with a variety of stakeholders from internal departments to agencies and suppliers
- Work flexibly in accordance with the operational needs of the business, supporting the operations team as required.

**Experience and qualifications**:

- Experience /knowledge in marketing, digital media, and design
- Experience/Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing tools
- Photography, graphic design skills/experience
- Familiar with using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom)
- Proactive can-do attitude and keen to learn
- Excellent organisational skills.

**Salary & Benefits**:

- Salary: £23,302.50 pro rata;
- Meal allowance and discounted food;
- Holiday entitlement is 28 days per annum pro-rata (inclusive of bank holidays);
- Company sponsored healthcare cash plan;
- Term-time only (September - June).

**Hours of work**:
The usual working week will be 37.5 hours. This may include some evenings and weekends.
