Part-time Payroll Assistant

Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for a move? I am delighted to be representing a well established client in their search for a payroll officer to join their team on a part time basis.
You will be required to work 22.5 hours per week, with hours to suit (flexibility may be required at month end to work within deadlines)
Reporting to the Financial Controller, typical duties include:
- Ensure UK and Ireland monthly payroll is collated, approved and submitted to the outsourced payroll provider within timescales
- Entering on to the banking systems, including on and off boarding process
- Processing payroll data to the finance system, reconciling and resolving issues
- Issue P11D's, P45's, P60's and other statutory filings
- Assist with the annual audit from a payroll perspective
- Manage the internal annual leave system
- Other adhoc duties to support the team
Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience:
- UK payroll experience is essential (Irish payroll experience would be advantageous)
- AAT or a payroll qualification would be advantageous
- Accounting knowledge, including chart of accounts, journal processing, reconciliations and data processing
- Able to manage own time and deadlines
- IT Literate, ideally with O365
- Strong communications skills are essential for this role.
This role is available on a hybrid basis depending on days worked.
