**Payroll Advisor and Accounts Assistant - Fixed term 12 months, Part Time**

**The role**

A part time role for a fixed term period of 12 months, to administer the monthly payroll of the NPA (currently c140 employees) using Sage payroll software, ensuring that staff and the tax liability are paid accurately and on time. To work as part of the Finance team carrying out accounting duties in an accurate and timely manner and to provide an efficient and effective service to departments within the NPA, to members and to suppliers

**Key facts**

**Hybrid-working pattern**: Home working blended with at least 1 day per week working at the NPA’S Head Office, just outside of London.

**Availability**: Immediate or very short notice

Your key attributes:

- Ability to Work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
- Experience of payroll management and using payroll systems, ideally Sage
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of group personal pensions GPP and auto enrolment
- Regular sales ledger duties including: - Inputting and allocation of receipts in Access Dimensions - Discount vouchers processing, allocation and query resolution - Processing refunds to members and ad-hoc payments to third parties - Credit control duties
- Regular purchase ledger duties including: - Checking invoices, credit notes and staff/Board expenses for accuracy - Ensuring invoices are authorised in a timely manner to ensure supplier payment terms are met - Processing payments of authorised invoices
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, and skilled at adjusting communication style to suit audience
