The Recruitment Group is working with a niche firm specialising in the defence of serious crime. Who are seeking a passionate Personal Assistant. A switched on, fearless and organised Assistant who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and stand out from the crowd. You will focus on supporting the Managing Director’s business interests and personal / family affairs. By running a tight ship and providing service and support you shall allow him to be more efficient which shall enable him to focus more effectively upon the business and family matters at hand.

**Purpose of the Personal Assistant role**:
With the benefit of a solid team of talent comprising some of the best Solicitors and Barristers who are eminent within their profession. That is continually expanding and are now seeking to develop that team further by the addition of a Personal Assistant.

**Main duties and responsibilities of the Personal Assistant role**:

- Administrative and secretarial duties and tasks
- Attending client conferences, meetings, preparing minutes / notes
- Analysing information and feedback and implementing solutions
- Answering telephones call and dealing with / screening enquiries
- Arranging accommodation and travel, including personal holidays
- Business and personal research tasks Collating and indexing Court bundles and documents.
- Calendar and diary management; scheduling appointments and sending reminders
- Communicating with clients and stakeholders within the Criminal Justice System
- Copying, printing, and scanning documents
- Fact-checking and editing
- Managing Internal and external departments and stakeholders
- Organising and maintaining office systems
- Organising Managing Director’s entire business, personal and professional schedule
- Preparing Expenses - Preparation and production of business and legal documents, forms, and statements
- Primary point of contact in the absence of Principal
- Provide guidance to junior and temporary secretaries when required to do so
- Undertake departmental system administration

**Experience/knowledge requirements for the Personal Assistant role**:

- Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar supporting role
- Must have excellent computer / IT and organisational skills.
- May be required to have the requisite ability to communicate and liaise with clients and stakeholders within the Criminal Justice System in a confident manner.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
