**Job Title**

Senior officer, Cash Administration, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Jersey)

**What is the opportunity?**

You will provide efficient and timely administration of cash transactions in accordance with internal procedures and in line with agreed service level arrangements or relevant client deadlines in a risk adverse and cost effective manner and to accurately record and reconcile cash transactions where appropriate.

**What will you do?**
- Receive and administer all payment requests in accordance with internal procedures and fully responsible for the accuracy of all aspects of the transaction
- To have effective control of own workflow to ensure all transactions are processed in line with cut off times
- Ensure that all cash transactions are bookkept and reconciled accurately and in a timely fashion
- Develop relationships with internal and external business units to enable effective investigation and solving of queries
- Review and monitor the Cash Administration inbox and payments database ensuring that all requests are fully authorised and appear to have valid information in order for the Cash Administration team to complete payment and related administration
- Identify any issues and liaise with the fiduciary to resolve in order to process the payment within the daily cut off times
- Communicate with, and train, the PCFS teams with regard to the above training needs, meeting regularly
- Meet with manager and supervisors regularly to review errors/queries identified to close gaps in training by collaborating with FRM and other business units
