Castelan is an industry leading National furniture care business who provide customer services and repair services for furniture insurance, commercial services and the furniture retailer market. Based in Weston-Super-Mare, five minutes from the town centre and with great access via car, bus, bicycle or walking.

**What you'll be doing**
- Unlock and secure building as appropriate.
- Process all incoming mail and parcels as required.
- Ensure all internal post is collected and delivered accurately within the agreed time limits.
- Ensure all external post is collected and suitably prepared for the appropriate carrier.
- Assist with the ordering, dispatch and stock control of all stationary.
- Use the telephone including placing/checking orders and taking messages accurately
- Assist other departments when necessary with the movement of stock, furniture etc
- Operate envelope inserting and franking machine
- Undertake all other duties of the Post room as required as required by the head of department or director.
- Drive company vehicles as and when required.
- Understand and operate the Treating Customers Fairly, Compliance and DPA confidentiality along with Castelan values ensuring the culture, customer service and continuous improvement elements are upheld
- Checking of all parts received to ensure they are correct and undamaged
- Re-packaging of parts
- Sending of parts
- Tracking missing parts for the Claims/Solutions departments
- Organising scheduled pickups of parts
- Day to day lifting and managing of parts
- Speaking to and using couriers to send and receive all parts
- Ordering of certain parts i.e.; spring cages, cardboard boxes for mechanisms and electrics
- Storing of parts

**What will you have**
- Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships
- The Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Relevant work experience is preferable for this position
