Charterhouse Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager for our client based in Birkenhead. They are a well-established business who have been operating for almost 30 years and they specialise in many areas of the automotive industry.They have fantastic customer reviews and they pride themselves on a first-class service.

**WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW**:

- Salary of between £30k and £40k DOE
- Monday to Friday working hours which are usually 8am to 5pm

**A SNAPSHOT OF THE OPERATIONS MANAGER’S DAY**:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business which will include the following:

- Managing a small team ensuring they have everything they need to do their role productively
- Developing and implementing any new policies and procedures
- Ensuring the company is compliant
- Manage the ISO systems
- Coordinate with the external team to ensure they are booked in to visit customers
- Managing company inboxes
- Overseeing customer service and resolving any customer complaints
- Monitor budgets and financial spend

**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR APPLICATION**:

- Experience in a hands-on operational / office manager role previously
- Strong administration skills and able to use MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to manage multiple projects at any one time
- High level of attention to detail
- Having automotive industry experience would be highly desirable
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
