Killeavy Castle Estate is seeking a Guest Services Representative for this award winning hotel.
**Role Objective;**
**Key Duties and Responsibilities;**
- Greet guests in a warm, friendly manner
- Drive the hotel guest shuttle bus
- Setting up tables and chairs in room, to specification (banquet, boardroom, theatre, u-shape etc.)
- Cleaning of meeting rooms
- Setting up refreshments station in the rooms as required
- Ensuring refreshment breaks are on time and relevant equipment is in the room
- Ensure you are there for the client should they need anything
- To offer a high level of customer care
- To work as part of a team
- To assist other departments when necessary
- Transport equipment as necessary
- Making deliveries as necessary
- Escorting guests to their bedrooms as required and assisting with luggage and food or beverage room service as necessary
- Answer telephone in a friendly, professional manner, transferring calls to correct extensions and dealing with requests
- Promote and sell the Hotel's facilities at all times
- Deal with any guest complaints, queries and suggestions quickly and efficiently
- Adhere to all Company policies including Customer Care, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and Cash Handling
- Deliver excellent care to our guests;
- Ensure that areas of responsibility are clean and well maintained and cleaning checklists are adhered to
- Report defective materials and equipment to the appropriate departments
- Ensure that the ambience in departments (lights, music and temperature) are controlled
- Be vigilant throughout the Hotel to promote security
- Have strong product knowledge of all areas of the hotel
- Accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests and to maintain flexibility within teams
- To provide support where necessary in other areas of the Hotel
- Other duties as requested by management
- **Key Skills and Experience include;**:
- Minimum one years in a similar role
- Excellent customer focused manner at all times
- Proactive positive attitude
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- A good eye for detail and a desire to take responsibility, through to resolution, for issues and concerns generated by our guests
- Flexibility with working hours is essential
