We have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational individual to Support our **SEND department as Deputy SENDCO and EHCP Administrator.** Providing outstanding administrative support for the smooth running of Education and Health Care Plans and support the work of the college SENDCO. You will have oversight of EHCP Portal and liaise with SEND Links with Somerset, Dorset and other Local Authorities as appropriate, Accessing the Somerset EHCP portal and provide logins for Annual and Transitional Reviews and monitoring the arrangement, chairing and completion of EHCP reviews for Somerset, Dorset and other Local Authorities. You will have oversight of the planning, completion and quality assurance of EHCP reviews, providing reports to the college SENDCO to ensure compliance and Liaising with Curriculum Area Managers to ensure compliance. You will be required to administer the EHCP risk assessment process, maintaining the risk register.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you can demonstrate the following:

- Level 3 or 4 qualification in Teaching and Learning or a PGCE.
- A minimum of 2 GCSEs (equivalent) at C grade or above in English and maths.
- Experience dealing with EHCPS, annual reviews and SEND and EHCP administration tasks.
- Experience of teaching or supporting students with SEND.
- A strong awareness and ability to deliver first class internal and external stakeholder and external agencies care.
- Strong awareness of the SEND Code of Practice.
- Computer literate and skilled in the use of MS Office including Word and Excel with good keyboard skills. High level of expertise in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to constantly update IT skills.
- An ability to create and contribute to effective teamwork.
- Confident in own ability to work within relevant Data Protection regulations.
- Ability to communicate with peers at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills shown by the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff, students, employers, parents and others.
- Outstanding organisational and administrative skills.
- Able to plan and prioritise workload, often with conflicting demands, in order to ensure deadlines are met.

**Salary: £25,750**

**Full time, 37 hours per week, all year round.**
