Compliance Coordinator

MDG Rail are hiring, and we would like you to join our team as our **Sentinel Coordinator.**
This is a role joining a leading supplier of support services to the UK rail infrastructure.
Salary banding - suggest £24-£27k
**About you**:
You will be confident in liaising with a variety of people at different levels and confident making phone calls to coordinate training.
Relevant experience working in the railway industry would be desirable with a background working with the Sentinel system/training coordination, however, training will be provided.
You will remain up to date with changes to Sentinel protocol and ensure any changes are applied.
You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment where last minute changes can happen and enjoy working as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills.
You will be highly organised and able to problem solve.
You will be able to bring forward ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement of processes and procedure.
You will ideally have experience in audit preparation and assisting with the delivery of external audits.
**Duties**:
To manage the Sentinel system by completing the following tasks:
- To carry out pre-sponsorship checks of individuals prior to engagement.
- To arrange medical and drug and alcohol tests.
- Manage sub-sponsor requests.
- To liaise with external suppliers to book training and assessment requirements.
- Assisting with inputting upcoming shifts into the Trillo system and managing working hours to ensure compliance with Network Rail working hours standards.
- Issue letters of de-sponsorship as required.
- To assist with the collation of Logbooks in preparation for arranging recertification training.
- Maintain the skills and competency matrix.
- To produce sentinel reports when required.
- Provide joining instructions for training bookings.
- Assisting with audit paperwork and preparation for annual RISQS audit.
