**THE COMPANY**:Our client is a highly prestigious real estate investment trust focused within the Central London market. They are looking for a polished and professional individual to join their team and provide a superior level of customer service to their high profile clientele.

**THE ROLE**:The Receptionist duties will include;
- Welcome on-site visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Determine the nature of visit and announce the visitor’s arrival to the appropriate person
- Answer the switchboard in a professional, speedy and courteous manner and forwarding to the appropriate person/department
- Take accurate messages from callers and deliver these messages in an efficient and effective way
- On a daily basis be familiar with staff absences so that any calls or visitors may be dealt with speedily and efficiently on behalf of the absent colleague
- Coordinate couriers and deliveries effectively
- Actively manage the room booking process to ensure a speedy transition between meetings
- Work in conjunction with the catering team to ensure that hospitality requirements are met and that rooms are well-stocked and tidy
- Ensure that the reception area is a tidy, calm and welcoming environment
- Act as fire marshal or first aider, undertaking the necessary training with enthusiasm and commitment
- Ensure the company’s security procedures are maintained at all times and remain vigilant regarding all persons entering the company’s premises and ensure they are correctly identified and acknowledged

**THE PERSON**:

- Proven experience providing excellent customer service as Front of House
- Demonstrate a good knowledge of telephone systems and call handling procedures
- Good interpersonal skills, both verbal or written
- Display an unflappable and flexible approach whilst providing outstanding customer service
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
- Competent using the Microsoft Office with a good overall level of computer literacy
- Demonstrate experience of working as part of a team and able to work independently
- Strive for better ways of working and embrace change
