We are currently looking to recruit an Administration Officer to join our service.

The main duties of the post;
- To effectively manage the administration systems/support for the Youth Service, incorporating an understanding of the scope of the service and to help progress the service appropriately.
- First point of contact and offer a professional, sympathetic and efficient service for service users, parents, staff, external organisations and partners for enquiries, complaints and issues, responding in a timely manner to requests and correspondence.
- Create, develop and maintain systems and innovative administrative procedures.
- Undertake word processing and general administrative/clerical duties essential to the running of the organisation; including reception duties, operating switchboard, message taking and delivery, mail handling, filing, photocopying and presentation of materials.
- Maintain and monitor various data, databases and management information systems ensuring accuracy of data, supporting various teams within the Youth Service by contributing to reports, corporate report card and monitoring visits.
- Applicants should also be able to develop and maintain key relationships with other agencies; possess excellent communication and organisational skills; be proactive and be able to work under their own initiative as well as part of a team.

You will have experience in/of;
Carrying out both administration and financial reporting duties and tasks in a busy and complex work environment.

Development and management of administrative and financial systems.

Drafting corresponding to a high standard.

Excellent IT literacy which must include Microsoft Word, Outlook and all Microsoft Office packages.

Ability to cope within/adapt to a busy/pressurised work environment involving continuous change to support the constant changing needs of the service, including action of multiple priorities and produce work of a high quality on an unsupervised basis.

Ideally you will have;
A minimum of 4 GCE/GCSEs (Grades A-C) or equivalent, which should include English Language.

NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration is desirable.
