The Facilities department comprises security, cleaning, janitorial and maintenance staff and the aim is to provide a hygienic, safe and well-maintained environment. The role of

Cleaning Coordinator within this department coordinates and supervises operations to ensure all venues, office accommodation, furniture and equipment are kept in a clean and

hygienic condition.

**The Role**
- To perform and designate cleaning tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager
- To ensure Cleaners and Janitors work to standards identified in cleaning schedules and cards by conducting documented daily checks
- To deliver staff induction training
- To submit weekly time and attendance sheets to Facilities Supervisor Key holder duties
- To place weekly orders for cleaning materials
- To provide room bookings and venue set ups directions for Janitors
- To clean and operate equipment in a manner that does not constitute any hazards
- To ensure safe storage and security of cleaning products including COSHH items
- To report any dangerous incidents and defective equipment immediately to the Facilities Manager
- To work closely with Facilities management to identify areas for improvement
- To assist staff from other departments if required and any other duties that may reasonably be expected by the Facilities Manager.

**Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience**
- Use of commercial cleaning equipment
- COSHH training
- Supervisory experience

**Hours of work**

40 hours per week; Monday - Friday 7.00am - 3.00pm

(4 hours Saturday and Sunday 8.00am - 12.00pm alternate weekends).

No additional payments or allowances and no contractual entitlement to overtime.

TOIL given for weekend work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £12.00 per hour
