**Equans is looking for a **Regional Technical Supervisor (Scotland and North)** to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £38,000-£41,000, dependent upon skills and experience, and benefits package.**
Representing EQUANS Technical Compliance Services, the Regional Technical Supervisor is responsible for executing the self-delivery of all Water Treatment services across the North of England and Scotland.
Interpersonal skills will be key to gaining the trust and confidence of all Clients, effectively working with the Technical team supported by Schedulers and Contract Administrators to efficiently deliver Water Treatment Planned and remedial works utilising system tools.
This would be a Working Supervisor role with a view to supporting in field on specific works as required. Willing to work overtime is essential.
**What will you deliver?**
- First point for customers on site and customer queries/complaints
- Review all Job Sheets in timely manner for accuracy, legibility, procurement, (materials and quotations) problem solving
- Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests
- Coordinate the production of quotations including undertaking site survey’s
- Use preferred supplies where possible
- Provide weekly reports to the Regional Technical Manager
- Attend client meetings as and when required
- Complete Safety Visits for all Engineers
- Assist Admin regarding closure of WIP in a timely manner
- Supervise material budget per contract
- Liaise with procurement for preferred supplier’s sub-contractor
- Efficient delivery of contracts and reduce overtime spend
- Support Helpdesk with allocating calls to the correct engineers for your sites
- Make and document any PPM changes / variations
- Review assets in timely manner ensuring Planon accuracy
- Be available for out of hours call-out support for designated contract’s
- Be able to cover sites during absence as directed by Regional Technical Manager
- Carryout and attend safety audits
- Supervise availability of engineering staff to attend training courses in line with requirements
- Ensure all site L8 log books are in date and accurate
- Production of Quotations
- Complete accident / incident investigations in a timely manner
- Ensure all contracts under designated control are statutory compliant
- Ensure QA are completed in line with the company policy
- Comply with reasonable requests for information from SHEQ Manager
- Ensue all engineers PPE is up to date and safe
- Ensure tool box talks are carried out
- Ensure all engineers are following risk assessments and method statements for all works

**Who are we looking for?**
- City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent qualification for mechanical discipline
- Extensive knowledge of the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition), its associated technical guidance documents of HSG274 and British Standards where applicable
- Good knowledge of Closed Systems to be able to size and quote for necessary remedial works following initial onsite technical analysis of a closed system
This role includes a DBS Enhanced check therefore ability to pass is essential.
