Due to business growth, an opportunity has arisen to join this friendly team at the heart of the business. We are looking for an experienced Finance/Office Assistant who holds, or is willing to develop, the necessary skills to support the business in taking the Finance function to the next level by reporting to the Finance Manager in a fast-paced industry.

As an independently operating member of the team, you will have strong communication skills, be confident in using computers and a variety of software. You will work accurately and efficiently in a fast paced environment with attention to detail being a key skill.

Duties include:

- Manage the creditors ledger including invoice posting, creditor payments, maintenance of installment plans and schedules, supplier account set up and reconciliations
- Perform month end creditor reconciliations highlighting any issues to the Finance Manager
- Manage the debtors ledger, assisting with invoicing, maintaining schedules, reconciling debtors ledger, debt collection and resolution of queries as required
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- Assist with the year end audit process
- Dealing with Supplier queries as and when needed
- Dealing with credit card expenses and mileage claims
- Managing the general office administration including sourcing and ordering of general office items
- Ad hoc duties and assisting the Finance Manager & Operations Supervisor and the wider team where needed.
