**The Role**
As the New Business Sales Manager, you will strive to achieve agreed targets for Education from the appointment of new partners. Operating in a field-based role for the Specialist Lending division within PCL, you will develop and win a pipeline of new independentschools and ancillary education providers in our chosen markets.
You will be responsible for identifying and advising on the development of product variations in conjunction with the relative teams to remove barriers to expansion and combat competitive threats. You will also reduce leakage and drive long-term value for thebusiness.
Additionally, your role will involve:
- Producing and agreeing an annual business plan, in conjunction with your line manager
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key influencers in the Education sector as appropriate, to maximise business opportunities
- Identifying prospective new partners within the strategic criteria and maintaining the centralised pipeline report
- Reporting monthly on key performance indicators as agreed with the Sales Director within specified time scales
- Managing activity in line with an agreed sales approach
- Building a structured contact strategy and assisting with the development of consistent presentation collateral.
**About You**
To be considered as New Business Sales Manager, you will need:
- Sales experience, focusing on new business and revenue generation
- Strong senior client relationship management skills
- Excellent presentation skills, able to present to Board level confidently
- Strong track record in client implementation programmes
Ideally, you will have:
- Business practice in relation to funding lines and accounting procedures
- Extensive professional/ industry contacts
